Second Skin Aftercare Instructions
- Your artist will bandage your new tattoo with Second Skin
- We recommend leaving the second skin on for 3-5 days
- It is normal for your tattoo to “weep” under the bandage, so don’t be alarmed if it looks a little muddy underneath if the edges are sealed
- Second skin is safe to shower with. Remove Immediately if water gets trapped under the bandage or if excess blood/plasma/ink starts to leak out of the bandage
- When removing the bandage, make sure to wash thoroughly with warm water & anti-bacterial soap
- Apply unscented lotion after washing, making sure tattoo is completely dry before application
- Do not submerge fresh tattoo in water (bath, hot tub, pool, ocean, etc.) Keep out of direct sunlight or contact with animals or garden soil. Tattoo will typically be healed in 2-3 weeks.
